Summer of a Lifetime 2012!
Summer of a Lifetime is part of the National Citizen Service programme and gives year 11 students the chance to gain some valuable life skills as well as provide a focus for their summer holidays. The National Citizen Service programme is a Big Society initiative, supporting young people from all backgrounds to work together, take on new challenges, have fun and engage in their communities - making lifelong friends along the way.
You’ll develop career skills, make a difference to your community and have fun! As part of your action packed summer, not only will you have the chance to get away and enjoy the great outdoors but you’ll also work alongside some truly inspirational athletes!
What better way to spend your summer?
v, The National Young Volunteers' Service, in partnership with the Dame Kelly Homes Legacy Trust (DKH Legacy Trust), is offering over 1000 young people the opportunity to get involved in Summer of a Lifetime next summer. The programme is being delivered by local partner organisations that form part of v's national network.
