What we do...

• Welcome to the Cheshire vinvolved Team! We advise and support young people aged 16-25 to get involved in volunteering. We also recognise their achievements and commitments.
  
  We help to find young people volunteering placements that suit their needs and interests and support them through their experience!

Organise your own event… paint a mural… makeover a community garden… be a sports coach… volunteer at a music event… befriend an older person… help redesign a website… help build an otter holt… supervise child play activities… help out at a dance or drama group… be a mentor for a young person with a learning difficulty… produce newsletter and publicity… change your community… change attitudes!!!

The vinvolved Cheshire Team is one of 152 projects across the country who are funded by v as part of vinvolved, a national youth volunteering programme which aims to inspire half a million more young people to volunteer in England. We are a partnership which includes Youth Federation, University of Chester, Chester Volunteer Centre and Congleton & District Voluntary Action.

Awards

There are a number of awards that you can gain.

v awards:

v offer awards to celebrate the efforts and achievements of young people. If you volunteer, even as a one-off, you will receive a vThank you certificate. You can then work towards a v50 award (50 hours volunteering) and a vImpact award (100 hours volunteering).
