Youth Federation Membership

After much consultation and feedback Youth Federation has decided to review our affiliation procedure and what we offer to voluntary youth groups in Cheshire, Halton, Warrington and Wirral. We will be renaming 'affiliation' to 'membership' and will be offering a new Ambassador package which offers a wide range of services to groups on top of our standard membership package.

The standard membership package cost £50 for groups of 50 young people or less, and £75 for groups with over 50 members and includes the following:

  • Affiliation to UK Youth

  • Access to discounted insurance through BJK Insurance

  • Access to Youth Federation events and competitions

  • Access to v Volunteering charity

  • 1 visit per year by Youth Federation staff

  • Help and Advice on starting and running your Youth Group including policies and procedures

  • Finance Support CD

  • Representation and access to strategic networks within Cheshire, Halton, Warrington and Wirral

  • 10 free CRB checks for volunteers per year

  • Discounted rate for Paid workers’ CRBs

  • Access to updates and advice regarding the new Independent Safeguarding Authorities development

  • Access to Youth Federation minibus subject to conditions

 

Amabassador Membership

Ambassador membership includes all the benefits of our standard membership plus

  • PAT Testing

  • Finance support

1.      Payroll

2.      Auditing of accounts

3.      Bi-Annual Training Events

4.      Full cost recovery

  • Unlimited CRBs

  • Access to Human Resource support through Ellis Whittam

  • Access to model policies and procedures

  •  Access to Health and Safety support through Ellis Whittam

  • Membership access area through Youth Fed website

  • Priority bookings/Reduced Cost at training events/conferences

  • Bi-Annual support visits

  • Direct support with recruitment

  • Direct support with funding application

The cost for this packages is £250 which is excellent value for money compared to the individual purchase prices of these services.
