Wow! What an achievement!!

The MYAF continues to go from strength to strength. Students and staff have been working very hard on the latest issue of their newsletter. Read all about what has been happening over the winter months and see the successes of all the students in Youth Achievement Foundation in Macclesfield.

A big well done from the Chief Executive and the Directors of the charity.

Congratulations goes to Toni Davies (MYAF graduate) who was runner up in the young enterprise of the year award in Manchester. Toni has supported over 100 children through various projects including workshops in local primary schools to break down barriers between the younger and older generation and carnival costume making workshops, which supported children to learn many crucial life skills.

Conditions in the icy north were no match for England's top female boxers, who came from all over the country to Manchester for the finals of the 2011/12 National ABAE Female Championships. The finals included a wealth of talent, from novices with only skills bouts under their belts to seasoned England representatives. Amongst the talented sports women was our very own Carys Artingstall, a former pupil at the MYAF and a huge success story already.
