“Hello, I'm 17 years old. I live in Ellesmere Port. Currently I am in 6th form at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School studying my A Levels.

 

Prior to the NCS Summer of a Lifetime course, not much happened in my life. I had just completed my GCSE examinations after another uneventful year at High school. In fact, most of my school life prior to the course was pretty much uneventful. I was bullied and I got average grades.

Summer of a Lifetime is part of the National Citizen Service programme and gives year 11 students the chance to gain some valuable life skills as well as provide a focus for their summer holidays.  The National Citizen Service programme is a Big Society initiative, supporting young people from all backgrounds to work together, take on new challenges, have fun and engage in their communities - making lifelong friends along the way.
